Everything you need to pass, in your pocket and offline.

Cert to Table is study material for the food safety and alcohol certifications people actually sit: ServSafe®, Learn2Serve®, TIPS, TAM and Prometric. Built on HACCP and the national standards those exams are written from. It reads in English, Spanish or French.

Launching fall 2026

What it looks like

Real screens from the app. Switch the language to see what a Spanish or French reader gets.

A lesson headed "What Foodborne Illness Really Is", the first of six in the topic, with a real-world example below it.
Lessons that explain the reasoning behind each rule
A flashcard asking at what point a whole melon becomes a TCS food, the first of nine in the deck.
Flashcards for the things you have to memorize
A quiz question asking why food that looks and smells fine can still be unsafe to eat, with four answers.
A quiz after every topic

Works with no signal

Walk-in coolers, basement prep areas, break rooms with one bar. The study material downloads once and works offline, with no connection needed and no data charges.

Three languages

Full material in English, Spanish, French. Kitchens are multilingual, so the study material is too.

Grounded in the standards

Written against the published food safety standards and reviewed for accuracy before it ships.

What’s covered

ServSafe is a single national program and HACCP is a federal framework, so the food safety material applies wherever you work. Alcohol service is the exception, and it is called out below.

A kitchen worker pulling on a disposable glove.

Food Handler

The core food safety material every kitchen and front-of-house employee is tested on: temperature control, cross-contamination, personal hygiene, cleaning and sanitizing.

A working commercial kitchen.

Food Manager

The full manager-level syllabus, including HACCP principles, active managerial control, and the responsibilities an inspector will hold you to.

A bowl of assorted nuts.

Allergens

The major allergens, cross-contact prevention, guest communication, and what to do when someone reacts.

A waiter carrying plated salads through a dining room.

Workplace Safety

Slips and burns, chemical handling, equipment safety, and incident reporting: the everyday hazards of a working kitchen.

A bartender pouring a drink into a glass.

Alcohol Service

Responsible service, intoxication signs, ID checking, and refusing service without escalating.

Check your local rules: Alcohol service requirements vary by state and often by county. In Maryland, certification runs through county liquor boards. Use this as study material, and confirm which specific course your local board accepts.

Pricing

Buy once for the certification you need. No subscription for individual study material. We haven’t set final prices yet; the numbers below are estimates.

Lessons with Charlie$4.99 one-time add-on

Built by people who worked the floor

The people who built this spent fourteen years managing a restaurant and getting staff through these exact certifications. This is the study guide we wanted back then.
