Fundraisers that say exactly what reaches the organization.
Spinach Gives runs fundraisers for community non-profits. A share of what each one makes goes to the organization, and a share stays with the business that ran it. We tell you which share, every time, before you buy anything.
Where it comes from
Thirteen years
Volunteering with United Cerebral Palsy of Delaware, starting at five years old. It became a normal part of the calendar rather than a thing we set out to do.
Four decades
In restaurants, which taught the same thing from a different angle. Kitchens run on people covering shifts for each other, and the good rooms look after the street they sit on.
Now
Spinach Gives is how that habit carries into the business. Fundraising is one of the reasons for building this company.
Our mission
Get money to small organizations doing specific work in their own communities. The kind run by volunteers, where a few thousand dollars changes what they can do this year rather than disappearing into an operating budget.
Every product this company sells is a potential fundraiser.
Anything we sell
Merchandise, software, whatever the herd grows into.
Becomes a campaign
Spinach Gives agrees the split, prints it on the campaign, and runs it.
Reaches an organization
A small group doing specific work in its own community.
We are a business that runs fundraisers. We are not a registered charity and we are not applying to become one.
How the money splits
A share of every campaign goes to the organization it was run for. The rest stays with this business. That second part pays for the product, the printing, the platform fees and the hours, and some of it is profit.
We write the split down because a cause-branded product tells you nothing on its own. You should know the number before you spend the money.
To the organization
Paid to the group the campaign was run for.
Runs the campaign
Product, printing, platform fees, hours. Some of it is profit.
Every campaign states its split before it opens.
How we will account for it
After every campaign we publish what it made, what went to the organization, and who they are. Three numbers and a name.
We ask the organization first. A name appears on this site once they have agreed to work with us.
Spinach Gives has not run a campaign yet, so this page carries no figures. It will carry them as soon as there are any.

If you run one of these organizations
Tell us what you do, who it reaches, and what a few thousand dollars would change.
Small, volunteer-run and unglamorous are all fine here. Those are the organizations we built this for.
